bank holiday weekend plans?

yaaaaaaaaaaay, for bank holiday weekends! we even have a little sunshine here today :)

so, what have you got planned?

i’m off to help out at a children’s ‘batty’ craft workshop this afternoon to celebrate european bat weekend!

we’re making bat kites, bat brooches, and bat fridge magnets and also going on a hunt for signs of bats, so if you’re in perth this afternoon pop along to huntingtower castle between 2pm and 4pm – all activities are free!

here's a link to the bat conservation trust for more information about our lovely bats.

have a lovely bank holiday weekend, hope the sun is shining for you too :)

hi beadypool, a great time was had by all thanks - and the weather was dry but windy which was perfect for bat kite flying!

hey gaffergirls, thanks for your kind words :) beware the felt beads though, they are addictive ... once you get started it's hard to stop! anything you need to know about felting - feel free to ask away :)
